The best Verizon deals for January 2024: free Galaxy S24, iPhones, and more

Apple iPhone 14 Plus: free with an unlimited data plan, plus free 65-inch TV at Verizon
No trade-in needed: While Verizon has been known for throwing in great freebies alongside its phone deals for a while, this particular promotion on the iPhone 14 might just be the carrier's best yet. For a limited time only, not only can you bag yourself a free iPhone 14 alongside a new line on an unlimited data plan, but the carrier is also throwing in a free 65-inch Amazon Fire Omni 4K TV worth at least $600 by itself. Unlike with other freebies at Verizon like smartwatches and tablets you don't need to pay for extra cellular lines here, which makes this freebie just that much stronger in our books.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro: up to $1,000 off with a trade-in, plus $280 off an iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
The biggest trade-in rebates available with this week's Verizon deals are on the latest iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. Both these premium flagships are available with a massive saving of up to $1,000 off alongside a new unlimited data plan - a match for the best discount we've seen from Verizon. Note that you can also get an additional $280 off an iPad and Apple Watch with this week's deal but accessory device lines are paid separately. That makes them not quite as good of a deal as the free TV on the iPhone 14 above but the trade-in here remains a strong choice.

Apple iPhone 15: up to $830 off with a trade-in and unlimited plan, plus $280 off an iPad and Apple Watch at Verizon
If you're looking to upgrade as an existing customer, this week's Verizon deals on the standard iPhone 15 are well worth checking out. The trade-in rebate of up to $830 off is the same regardless of whether you're upgrading or signing up for a new line so this one is a pretty neutral choice either way. As with on the Pro models, you'll also be able to get $280 off an iPad and Apple Watch in addition, although device lines are paid separately. 

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra & Plus: up to $1,000 with a trade-in, plus free tablet and Galaxy Watch
Verizon is stacking up some serious value with its opening deals on the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Both devices are available with a huge trade-in rebate of up to $1,000 off with a new line and the option to bundle in a free Galaxy Watch 6 and tablet. What makes this deal so good, however, is that you can trade-in any Samsung model in any condition and still be eligible for a maximum saving. The catch, however, is that you'll need a new line on an unlimited data plan to be eligible for these deals. Note, all devices are currently being offered with a free storage upgrade as a preorder bonus.

If you'd prefer to opt for the standard Galaxy S24, you'll also find those Verizon deals on this device right now. Note that the maximum trade-in value is a little lower on this device due to its cheaper upfront price but the maximum rebate applies to both new lines and upgrades. This makes the Galaxy S24 a pretty great choice for existing customers looking to bag a free flagship. You'll also get that free storage upgrade as a preorder bonus right now. 

Google Pixel 8: free with an unlimited data plan, plus free 65-inch 4K TV
Quite possibly the best Verizon deal this week for Android fans, no trade-ins are currently needed to get the excellent Google Pixel 8 for free alongside a new line on an unlimited plan. On top of the excellent phone deal here, you can also throw in a free 65-inch Amazon Fire Omni TV - an absolutely awesome bonus gift that doesn't require any extra lines or cost (unlike some 'free' accessories). 

Switch: get $540 when you bring your own device
Don't want a new device? No problem - Verizon also offers up to $540 promo credit for those who bring their device over from a rival carrier. Note that this credit is applied over 36 months and only applies to unlimited data plans. You'll also need to be on the Unlimited Plus plan to get the full amount (you'll get $180 with the Unlimited Plus plan).

Switch: $200 gift card when you buy a device over $699
Alternatively, those who are looking to pick up a device at Verizon can get a $200 gift card if they port their number over from another carrier. According to T&Cs, this one is eligible with devices over $699.99 in value and needs an Unlimited Plus plan. It does, however, stack with the usual trade-ins and freebies that you get otherwise with Verizon's deals on phones.

Plan deal: students save up to $25/mo with unlimited plans
Verizon offers a hefty discount for actively enrolled students, with a saving of up to $25 per month on the Welcome Unlimited plan. From the small print, it appears that you can have up to two lines with this promo and it also applies if you bring your own device. You will, however, need to log in to prove your eligibility.

Verizon FIOS: free $200 gift card or Echo Show 10 with sign-up at Verizon
Sick of slow internet? If you can get it in your local area Verizon FIOS is a fantastic choice with its incredible fiber-optic speeds. Verizon Fios internet: from $25/mo when you bundle in a mobile plan
Verizon deals don't just stop at mobile devices, they also extend to home internet packages. If you're looking to cut down on your bills in their entirety, it's a great idea to consider switching up your pricey home internet setup to a more consolidated option. While Fios by itself starts at $49.99/mo as a standalone package, those with an existing Verizon mobile plan can bundle in their home internet for as little as $25/mo, a significant saving.

The 10th generation iPad is a great choice for an everyday tablet at Verizon thanks to this excellent trade-in rebate of up to $180 off.  While the cheapest device in the range, this one is a great pick if you're looking for a quality do-it-all tablet for streaming, games, and productivity. It's not as powerful as the other tablets (see below), but it'll give you great bang for the buck.

Verizon deals on tablets this week also include excellent options on the latest Apple iPad Air 2022. This is the newest entry in the Air range and a superb pick if you like the idea of a mid-range slate with a decent mix of features and a reasonable price. As with all other Apple devices a nice little trade-in rebate is available on this device, which is handy if you're bundling up. 

Apple iPad mini (2021): Up to $180 with trade-in at Verizon
And, if you prefer a smaller-sized tablet, that same excellent Verizon trade-in deal is also available on the latest Apple iPad Mini. At just 8-inches, this tablet is much smaller and more bag-friendly than the other iPads. As you'd expect, however, it's still really powerful and features the same great design as its bigger siblings.

Save yourself more than a few bucks with this week's Verizon deals on the latest new Apple iPad Pro 2021 models. Trade in an old device and get yourself a saving of up to $180 on your new slate. If you're looking for a powerful LTE tablet, this is one's a great choice as it not only has a super powerful M2 chip inside but one of the best displays you'll find on a tablet anywhere.

Apple Watch Series 9: up to $180 off with a trade-in, plus AirPods for $60 at Verizon
The Apple Watch series 9 is the latest and greatest smartwatch from the brand, complete with a superb always-on display, speedy chip, and innovative new health-tracking features. Right now, the carrier is also offering a trade-in rebate of up to $180 and the option to bundle in a pair of 2nd gen AirPods for just $60. The AirPods here aren't the latest model but they're an absolute steal for $60 so this deal is well worth considering.
